I compared it to my LS1 crank and it seems like the gears on the rear are different. The 6.0 crank has a small gap between both the gears and smaller but the same amount of teeth.
As per chart posted at http://www.automotiverebuilder.com/ar/pg51.pdf
which came from http://www.automotiverebuilder.com/ar/eb040538.htm

12552215 is the Wide rear journal crank for the 99-00 6.0L
12552216 is the Narrow rear journal crank and was used in 5.3L, 5.7L, and stared being used in the 01 up 6.0L

The 5.7L cranks were lightend with a Gundrilled 1 inch hole length wise of the crank threw the Mains to Lighten the reciprocating weight for performance use.

Have not found refrence to 12552218 on LS based cranks... maybe its a 6 but kind looks like an 8???
BTW be carefull with that gear. They seem to be on Back Order right now and are not in any warehouses as far as I know and may be difficult to get. I can not seem to find them in stock anywere. I was going to check SDPC but I was told they are out too... I Have not confirmed it though...
