Default mill or no?

i am building a 1989 s-10 with a 5.3 and the motor is almost done. i put ARP rod bolts. 224 cam and had the heads ported and polished. thinking of having them milled now. they are 706's and i just was wondering if it would be worth it to have them milled down and how much? i am going carb and got the performer intake. truck weighs 2500 pounds with 355 and leather seats full interior. just wondering what you think about milling the heads?

More Compression = More Power...
Seems like a good combination to me .
Someone (on here) made a statement as to how much more HP you make by going up a full point in compression...I want to say it was 10% but I may be wrong on that figure...that does seem like a lot.
