Hey Intercooler 2 - I have similar mods as you...is your dyno run with the converter unlocked?

I'm doing basically the same mod you are. I'm going to have a custom grind cam but it will be close to the same as yours. And a set of patriot heads. I plan on using the patriot gold springs and had originally planned on using yella terra light weight roller rockers but now I'm intrigued on the idea of using the stock ones if they will work good and save me 400 dollars.

Mine was done unlocked and she put down 391/370 on a dynojet. I was really bummed when the tuner gave me the printout. Then I learned more and realized that stalled auto's aren't dyno queens but really perform well. And you're a prime example. I hear that locking would yield about 15-20 more rwhp, is that correct.

I've never run it at a track, so can't share any of that info with you.

I'd be ecstatic if I got your times though! Just curious, I assume you were running with slicks and not street tires, right?

Locked they pull more but I don't know exactly how much. I'm going through a 9" and I also had drag radials on when the pulls were done. That was a mistake and they said that radials yield some more HP. A 10 bolt and radials I could have probably hit 410-415.

I always look at it and go why isn't it in the 10's! But those times are on drag radials
