Why would TSP not post results if their product is superior? I'd like to make the comparison on my own about the results of your springs vs. the competition and not your accumulated data on the matter that you say is better...

I am looking for the spring that best fits my application regardless of what it is. I don't "have" to have the biggest baddest spring if I don't need it.

Thank you for the replies.

I did cancel my order today so I will be shopping for new springs this weekend.
I always go with the MFG of the cams recommendations. If Thunder told you 918's.. which is the Comp equivalent of the PAC 1218, then I would go with that or the PAC 1518.

If you go with the PAC 1518 or 1218 it takes regular Ole stock retainers seats and locks. They are true drop in replacement. Comp has retainers for about $20. Yes they are lightweight at 62g IIRC (which is better for valve control). If your interested I can set you up with all you need or anyone of the sponsors on here.. I'd probably go with Thunder if I were you and have them set you up. They know their cams best.

It sounds like I should get the 1218's. Should I buy stock retainers/locks or is there a better option for that?

Also, is there any problem going from a dual spring like the 977 back a single spring? I "assume" the spring pocket had to be machined to accept the dual springs. Will that cause a problem?

Well I thought 1218 tell I re read this post. If it matters I am using Harland Sharp aftermarket rockers. I can't remember if I mentioned that or not.
