Given the current state with two members having issues it's critical to get a written warranty in case something occurs.
Agreed. Joe already called me on Sun to let me know what was going on with the car and he was filling out the info for the warranty. It is 1 year P&L. I am more than willing to bet things will be ok. (I have way less that 15K in this package) Still alot to play roulette with.

I'm sure every sponsor has been bashed at one time or another. It will take more than one or two unhappy people to make me change my opinion about someone. When my setup is ready, I plan to just drop the car off and pick it up when it is tuned and 100% ready to go. Whatever suggesstions I am presented with (cam, ect.) is what I will go with. They are the expert, not me. I will probably stay in town a day or two to break it in and be there if it needs to go back for a glitch. BTW, if anyone at JPR reads this, please reply to the e-mail I sent last week (I know you are busy) or pm me. Just want to get an update on my order and when it may be ready. I can't call from over here. Will be back in 5 weeks Later!

Joel I never heard of this method but it seems very accurate compared to my H&C package. 346 x 1.2=415 I made 411 so that is pretty close. I have since switched out the 3:73's to 4:11's so I am not sure how it will wind up. I am having the car done on friday at JD's. I am looking forward to getting it back. Anyone wanna come by?

Spend the 50 bucks and throw a cutout on there. It'll be worth at least 20 RWHP compared to that Corsa

No cutout for me. I done CARE. I had a QTP on the SS and I didnt like it. Not QTP's fault but the wire from the switch fell off the cutout, I see people needing to adjust them everyonce in a while. You cant run them at ETown so forget it. I can do with the extra little powah.

$15K for a big inch motor? No warranty?
Way too risky for me. I know a guy in Vegas that runs a 150 shot and runs 10.8's with cam/converter/headers.

well since the motor was built by Joe, looks like it will dyno about 515RW and run 11.30's... that is before it lets go.

I hope for your sake, Joe can atleast put ONE motor together. My prayers are with you Bear. But we have all warned you, now its done, so we will see what happens.

I said it b4 but maybe u missed it. I HAVE NO WHERE NEAR 15K in this motor. It costs about 10K using my heads. This is all labor and parts.

That's a low blow. I see we registered at about the same time. Until the last week or so, I never heard anything about JPR, except for the bad *** cars he put on the road. Now a couple of unsatisified customers, that every shop in history has had, and guys here are jumping on the bash jpr bandwagon. I see you have a Cartek setup. I do recall past posts bashing them.

Heads are JPR LS6 S2.125(basically S2, cleaned up a little after the first bottom end let go.) New Valves, dont know the size, Crane Dual Springs.

Compression is 10.8 ---->11.0. I am not posiyve. When the gaskets went on and everything got buttoned up I will have a better answer.

Cam is a Comp Non XRE, 242/242 .600 .600 112

I DID NOT GO ALL OUT ON THE CAM. Since my car is heavy I will never set any records. I chose a big *** motor with lots of torque to make up for it. I will drive this thing around town and when I have somewhere to go. I dont use this as my DD. I want streetabilty and power. My car has full interior plus sound system.
