i love my ms3. its 100% driveable with a good tune and pulls very hard up top. not to mention it loves nitrous. i previously had the same exact set up you are gonna have and had no regrets of the ms3. i have it on a 113 and it sounds mean and im on stock rod bolts reving to 6700. i will be prob selling it this winter though bc of going with something much bigger for my new build

Who makes the .650 golds? I didnt see them on TSP unless I didnt look good enough. I just tried to find the .650 golds and all I could come up with is that the PRC .660 was made to replace the gold .650 so to me that would mean that the PRC .660 should be better.

That was most likely me. I live near the pontiac dealer in hamilton and im always on rt 4 since thats the only way I can leave my house. And I think that would be sweet if I could get a ride so I can see for myself how a ms3 is. I think you might know a couple of my friends and maybe my brother also. I used to run a black boosted civic that ran 12.5 that might help you know who I am.

Patriot used to be the supplier for the .660 Platinums IIRC. TSP doesnt sell the .660 platinums anymore, if thats what you order, you are getting the .650 Golds. At least thats what they told me. I bought the .660 Platinums and ended up getting the .650 Golds. There is a new company supplying the .650 for PRC, which is supposed to be better.

With any of these cams would I need to fly cut the pistons and if not then at what point do you usually need to fly cut?

When you get bigger valves and milled heads. those cams are fine with stock heads. MS4 is the thightest fit i'd say.

i voted 233/239 just because that's what I'm running. but i can tell you the car drives awesome on the street and has the power up top when you need it. the car has been tuned and i make trips 1.5 hours down to Houston and back with no issues. not to mention with my true duals the cam sounds sweet!!!!I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. pm if you need more info.

Looks like the ms3 has got the most votes and I have a chance on a good deal locally so that might help my choice. I just need to get all the other things to go with it.

I vote Torquer 2 mostly because that is what I am running now. It is a terrific street cam for daily driving and is well respected at the track as well. I have ran 11.8 @ 118 at a race weight of 3450. I am finally working out some of my traction issues and have hopes of running 11.6 this winter. My 2010 plans is a 125 wet shot to go 10.7 or better. All around a great cam for a m6 car with AC and daily driver.

I only have one down side and that is with a slight surge when I crank my car with the AC on. It will not surge if the car is already cranked then turn the AC on, only does it in the reverse order. Honestly this can be corrected in the tune but I just haven't figured this out yet. My point is no matter what cam you get make ABSOLUTE sure your tuner is spot on! You won't be disappointed with the TV2.
