Default Knocking help

I cranked up my car this morning and sounded unusually loud.. I got on it when driving off and heard a knocking noise. I got back home and noticed the oil was low so i added oil. The knocking is hard to hear at idle but when it gets pass 2500-3000 you being to hear it. Sounds like it is coming from right under the intake. I did let a friend drive my car last night at the drag strip and well he spun through every gear and hit the limiter in every gear (1-3)

Any ideas as to what it can be??
Oil pressure seems to be a tad lower than before but as rpms increase so does oil pressure, the car pulls fine, runs fine, idles fine, just got a knock.
Maybe cam bolts? bearings? main bearings? rods?
Everything in internal is stock besides heads and cam

Any idea as to what it might be? Its not really a knocking noise more of a ticking noise coming from the front of the engine

Pull your oil filter off and cut it open, search for metal shavings. Also check the magnetic drain plug. That will be a good sign of a spun bearing etc...

Your friend couuld have floated the valves bouncing off the rev limiter and done a bit of damage to your valve train from PTV contact. You could have a bent pushrod or valve, or a collapsed lifter.

Im leaning towards the lifter by the way it sounds, a buddy of mine came and looked at it at first when i explained to him he said bearing but when he heard it he said that wasnt it. he talked to lorenz a guy he used to work for an tune ls1s around my area and he said cam bolts.
