Default TSP231/237 Vs MTI stealth cam

Hi guys well i just ordered the Patriot Perf. Stg2 Ls6 heads and the TSP 231/237 cam and im beginning to think the 231/237 might be a bit much for a daily driver. How much power loss do you think it would be between the TSP231/237 vs The Mti Stealth II cam? Guys with the TSP231/237 how is it for daily driving. I really dont have to deal with traffic alot or red lights cause i live in the country i may have to deal with stop and go for 10 minutes a day. what do u guys think?
ssee ya

1.Plan on running nitrous? yes? go TSP

2.How choppy do you want your car? choppy? go TSP

3. I think from what I have seen they will make similar power, TSP being a couple more, but the MTI S2 might be pretty bad ***.

I have the TSP231/237

I run it as a daily driver no probs with idle set between 975-1025 rpms. Get a quiet catback and things should be fine, or tune as much of the lope out as you can.
It definately thumps though, and that's a good thing for my preference.

I daily drive mine 70 miles round trip to work and back every day. The TSP cam has a rough idle, but it has never died on me.. I can also run in 6th gear at 1,400 to 1,500 rpms without any trouble. I think I will add some 4.10 gears in the future to aid in starting off, it takes some getting used to when starting from a stop. Btw.. my girlfriend drives my car some without problems.. and it is the first manual trans car she has ever driven, so it isn't bad for a daily drive cam.

BUT, I would love to see what the stealth cam would do in my car too.. LOL.

I THINK it is 900rpm, Jason from TSP did the tune.. but I think I recall us discussing setting it at 900. I'm going to do some auto tap logging on the car if it will stop raining today.. so I'll check then.

At 900, how is the lope?? I won't mind a hard lope and was thinking of an 800-900 idle.

You get a mail order tune??

I wouldn't call it a "hard lope".. more along the lines of a "rolling lope" sound. Every morning on the way to work I stop at a store above my house to grab a drink for the drive to work.. I always park the car in front of the store and leave it running Almost every day there is someone there that comments on how freaking awesome the car sounds. That alone is enough reason for me to never go back to a little cam again.

And yes, I have TSP mail order tuning.

I have the TSP 231/237 with the PP heads in an A4 and i cant believe how good it is for daily driving and the lope isnt bad at all. i think the lope on my 222/224 was worse.

it idles great, im still trying to figure out my cold starts with ls1 edit though

do you have an A4 or M6?

...either way, tuning does wonders. i don't see what the dilema is. I currently run a came bigger than that, daily in rush hour traffic. TSP 231/237 all the way. be confident and happy with your purchase, and don't look back.
