LS1 vs. LQ4 windage tray
I know the LS1 windage tray is shorter due to the LS1 oil pan bing shallower.
I am going to be swapping a LQ4 into an Fbody, given that I already have a LS1 oil pan and pick up tube, could I simply cut the LQ4 windage tray with a grinder down to the proper LS1 length? I don't know if the LS1 pickup tube will still be able to bolt up properly or not...
Help is much appreciated, thanks.

It's an easy assumption to make, worded as it is. I stand corrected....
