oil pan removal with bmr turbo kemeber
i need to drop my pan to drill and tap another hole for a turbo return. with a tubular k member do i still have to loosen the 6 k member bolts and let it hang ?

Yes the k will have to come down at least a few inches i'd imagine. Remember, the rotating assembly actually extends into the pan. This has to be completely cleared to remove the pan.
