Is a LS2 timing chain a direct replacement for LS1

Is a LS2 timing chain a direct replacement for LS1 I can just buy a LS2 chain by itslef without sprockets and install it in my 2002Z28 correct? Or do I need to buy sprockets as well?

The car only has 34,000 miles and I change the oil with mobile 1 once a year weither it needs it or not. Im sure the sprockets are good. But if I notice any wear I will buy new sprockets.
