Default How many times can the main cap bolts be retorqued?

I have torqued down my bolts about half a dozen times checking and rechecking bearing clearances since I had to go through 3 sets of bearings to obtain the correct clearances. Should I be replacing these? I know the side bolts should be replaced if the seals are bad but what about the center bolts?

Personally, I would replace the bolts.

If you didn't measure them before the first use, it's tough to say. On torque-to-yield bolts like these motors use, anything beyond .001 stretch should be replaced.

Do yourself a favor and get some ARP studs, that way you won't have to worry about it.
