Default Best "cam only" cam for a LS2?

I good friend of mine asked me to do some research on whats the best cam for his LS2 GTO. He will not be touching the heads except for the required valve train parts for the cam, car is a M6 and most likely will have long tubes too. He would rather the cam be on the larger side so he can have that awesome sound. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance.
