i am thinking about getting a comp cam 212/218 .522/.529 114LSA.
i have comp cam 1.85 roller rockers, what kind of sound would i be expecting from this cam, how moch of a lope would i get, and how much of a hp/tq would i be expecting?

Not much lope with that cam will be pretty quiet, should gain around 15 to 20 hp.

 

Me myself on what you are running and what I have read run the LT4 HOT CAM - Perfect and probably sound good with lopy idle.

 

Well, that cam is pretty darm small. But that may be as large as you can go since you have 1.85 rockers. A bigger cam will have more lift and you might get some contact between the pistons and valves. You could get out custom ground however.

 

so any suggestions on a cam that will lope with what i have and be noticeable?

01 Thunder, if you want to hear your cam, just go with a cam witha lobe sep angle(lsa) of 112. And far as hp, Scream went form 242 rwhp to 272 on his 4.8 with this cam and no tuning.
