Default oil consumption

My car is an 2001 trans am ws6 a4.
Mods:212/218 cam, compcam valve springs, flt 4 trans, 3200yankk, LT headers no cats.
My engine has been running 5,000 since it was build. I always has had problem with oil consumption since builded, but you can not see smoke coming from the exhaust, just a bit when you step on the gas. But recently my car is consuming aprox 1 1/2 quarts every 750miles, and thats a lot. There are no leaks.
So where should i start looking for the problem??
