Cam Selection For 383
I have a 383 build that is near completetion. Heads are milled and pistons are CC'd and i am told that there is between 11:1 - 11:4:1 compression ratio. I will Eventually ( way in the future ) run a 150 shot. What cam should i use in this motor for the best performance and power and why ? Any info would help.
Heads flow over 300 , 9" rearend with 4:11's , Built tranny with viper output shaft, (still selecting injectors, pushrods, and fuel pump) any info on that would be great also.

I'd love to see how my cam worked in a 383.
239/243 .623/.623 113+3
Makes great N/A power, and with the excellent tune Mike@Vengeance Racing gave me she runs about as close to stock as you can get. That is until you hit the gas.
Not exactly sure how she'll do with Nitrous, but as far as power off the bottle, and drivability (with a spot on tune) she'll work great.
What heads are you going to run ?
