Think with your dipstick. I just put my new 383 motor in my ls1 camaro, and now its leacking oil from the dipstick, while running. I did some looking into it and found out that you need to put in a o-ring in with the dipstick tube.
Where would i get this o-ring and how do i need to put it in? Keep in mind im not that good with mechanic work. My friends helped alot with my motor.

I crushed my dipstick tube getting it out to install my headers...bought a new one from the "stealership" (haha i like that one, first time i've heard it). Fourteen bucks and change, came with the o-ring on it. Not sure if you can buy just the o-ring for it, or if another ring could work. Last resort = 14$ o-ring lol.
