Which LSx heads are better...
die cast or sand cast....
I found in another thread that 035 was die cast & 317 was sand cast...
And if one is better than the other, how can tell by looking at them, or is there a list somewhere ??

Don't know about this die cast LSx head, but you can usually tell a die-cast from a sand-cast by the finish. The sand will have a stippled (small bumpy) finish - from the sand - and the die will have a much smoother or altogether different pattern in the metal.

So, the die cast would be the better one ?
I'm guessing that die cast would cause less core shift over sand cast ?
In the past I read that that there was a 'better' 6.0 head , is the 035 die cast the better head vs the 317 sand cast head ?
Are all LSx heads today using the better casting process ??
Maybe Terry from Patriot knows, as he bought 4000 035 die cast 6.0 LSx heads ??

Actually, there are other variables which have an effect on core shift like material quality and process quality. Unfortunately you can't just make a call without knowing something about those, or having empirical evidence to support the view.
