Default Cam help please!

I have found a cam/head/intake combo to purchase but have a choice of cams and do not know which one to pick.
The heads are prc stage 2.5 5.3 heads and the intake is a fast 90.
The cam choises are:
comp 228/228 571/571 on a 116
or
flowtech 232/236 600/600 on a 113

My car is a stock ls1 camaro, with headers, slp lid, ported throttle body, 3" y pipe and exhaust, 4000 stall and 373 rear.

This is not my daily driver, I am looking for a killer strret car that i will take to the drag strip.

Any help on the cam pick would be great.
Thanks

If those are the only choices, the second one definitely. But if
you're not too worried about streetability...def go bigger! Look into numbers close to the Magic Stick series....or get one custom spec'd

I also have the option for a bit more money.

PRC stage 2.5 ls 6 heads, torquer 2 cam and fast 90.

Will this combo make much for power for the extra money?

Wouldn't think twice to go with Ed's cam.

Why a 228 cam is on a 116

I was thinking the same thing, but did not know which would work best with my setup.

Thank you for the input.

I was told that with my stall and gears, that the 228 would be better. Is that true?
