Strokers & Rod length

Strokers & Rod length I have noticed a number of manufactures make 6.0, 6.125, 6.20 rod lengths for 383ci strokers (4" stroke crank). What would be the better option - shorter rod (6.0) or longest possible (6.20) for an N/A build? Also how would this affect optimal cam duration & lsa?
Another Q - for the same stroke in a 6lt iron block with 4.03" bore and 2.02/1.62 valves, how will this impact cam selection over a stock bore alloy block?
Just trying to get some ideas.
