That little 346 is a monster. Some day I would love to be in that area off the bottle..

He might want to consider an exhaust system similar to thisY-pipe set up On a stock head TR236 cam it made a huge difference. Here are some examples of what I am talking about:

Open vrs Closed.. Torque Difference.. HP difference..

I see that little car breaking the 500 mark soon. Good job guys.

Wow! Awesome numbers. I think I want Cartek heads now.

Were the 2-X heads LS1 or LS6?

Or just put bullits straight off the header for the extra 9 hp and less weight when going to the track. Save the exhaust he is useing for driving around.

This would be an excellent chance to showcase what a new MAF or a new exhaust system could do. What about a ram air system? Did these tests include egr and air? What would happen if you switch to a solid roller setup with as close as possible cam numbers? Which headers do you have.

It's test like this that lead the industry forward and prove to the people what can be done. What you are doing and what you are posting; is inspiring new tuners to try new things and experiment with new products. Impartial and unbiased information is what is KEY to make sure the next generation grow up to be real builders and not just brand buyers.

Thats why I'm asking your opinion on what you think the essential elements of this eng are. i.e. What makes this eng what it is. What is the goal you have for this eng. What thought went into picking each individual part and how should someone think of the big picture and balance all the individual parts so that they all work together. Whats the next step you would take with this car and why. What do you think the limitations are right now/ what could be improved. Looking at the dyno, which way would you like to see it move. (besides up) (with 4.10's I assume racing?)

Not a lot of people have enough money to not worry about what they buy for their car. So most of us think ahead and plan out what we want to do. It's important (I feel) for us to show these thoughts in our posts. I would rather know what works overall on a car as opposed to just "item X does this". (like how it runs, it's character, sound, driver feel, etc.) Do you all know I meanor am I just rambling here?

p.s. sorry for the long post, I had a long break at school today.

Go build a moter ,setup a 12 bolt, do all that work again and when you get a good number , Go back to stock and try to sell it so you can get a z06 .
