help! wat springs?
im installing a 220/224 cam, with .575/575 lift in my car. which springs would you use? i was going to go with patriot golds since it comes with everything. but i was told to go with a beehive, but ive heard of them breaking. the car has 150k on it, but is BONE stock. unmolested.
i just wanna get the right thing, rather be safe then sorry.

id go with the patriot golds. you can also go with the comp cam 918 springs. i believe they are a beehive type. i guess you know if you get away from a stock beehive type spring, your stock retainers/keepers wont work.

I'd go with either the PAC beehive or comp 918's. The old comp 918's used to break but the new ones are fine. The beehives will be more than fine for your setup. Dual springs would be overkill.

I would go with PAC 1218's or the better 1518's. The 1518's have surface treatments for extended life. With that many miles, you might as well change the valve seals while the springs are off.
What he said ^^^ but the 1218 would be sufficient (good to .600 lift), but the 1518 is good to .650 lift but as stated above is nitrided.
