between those 2 i would say the torquer v2. with a stall that big, you might look into the TSP 233/239.

I have two with the V2 and love them but the 228 is a monster out of the hole. If i do it again its a 228. Steve is doing the tuning on the 228 and it pulls hard everywhere.

I have a TV2 with a 3600 stall and it's week out of the hole and pulls like a mother up top, going to try a Street sweeper this spring. hopefully it's a happy medium between the two.

If you're going to buy an off-shelf cam, the 228 is a much better cam than the T2. MUCH better.

I have the v2 in my car and love it. Drives good in traffic, only really surges at low rpm's when it's cold.

Gotta call TSP and get some more info . Im leaning toward a slightly larger cam with a 230-> duration and @ .600 lift . I have a lot of converter(4000stall) and decent gears (373's) so I think I would be alright .Still putting together the pieces of the puzzle

I had the TSP 228 with the 5.3 2.5 stage with a 3500 stall and 3:73s, it only made 393hp and 366tq but it pulled hard of the hole and mid range, just the top end seemed to disappear.
