Is it necessary to clearance the block to use the Eagle crank or the rods?

Sorry guy's we are having phone trouble. If you are calling our 800 line you will not be able to get through all the time. Call 586-792-6620 and you should be able to get through. Sorry for the phone trouble.

Thanks,

I didn't read everyone's posts, but I have an Eagle 3.75 stroke crank for my 383 I'm building for my 68 Camaro and I have came into all kinda of clearance issues that should have been taken care of at the factory. (I.E. the throws are not designed to work with the 5.7 rod--hitting the bottom of the pistons-- that I want to run and now I'm having to have the throws machined down to work which is comming outa my pocket)

If I had it to do over again I probably would have bought a Lunati or Callies.

Josh, you should have gone with a 6" rod motor. That's what I did with my Small Block 383 with an Eagle crank, you've heard it run and you know how quick it revs. The 6" rod 383's really love to rev, that's why I went with it. It's going to go really well with the 4.56's that we are getting ready to install.

Jammy....... kiss my **** man! I really wish I would have went with a 6" rod but at first I didn't even plan on building a stroker motor much less a 6" rod motor. I just kinda went with what I had and the eagle crank was supposed to have worked with that set up!
