6 speed.....But the clutch is about done. Now that I have an extra 100 HP I think I going to put an LS7 set up inside before I go out and play.

I thought about a 6 speed, but I already have a 4l60 for the swap. I would be interest in knowing what kind of mileage your expierencing with the carb set-up.

Pre cam I was getting a solid 21 MPG on the Hwy. It will be late Feb or early march before this one gets back on the road. Like I said before I have tranny work plus front end and body work going on this winter. Plus were fixin to build our shop.

Cool

Does anyone know if they make a shorty plug or wire for ls1's.

Yea, me too. Should have the new clutch, front suspension, and front end body work finished late Feb or early Mar. That will be all till next winter.

I'm impressed on the way it sounds. I hope I am equally impressed with the performance. When will you have yours running?

^^^Nice sounding ride, Sir!
It's good to see people putting LSx engines into shoeboxes...
I like the way your ride sits.
I'm definitely going to put a Thumpr in my 2003 Silverado with a 5.7.
Originally I was out to build a 5.7, "Z06" engine, but after hearing the Thumpr cam that you have and a few other truck owners have on LS1 tech, im SOLD!
I just hope that it passes SMOG as I am in Cali.

You might want to get your inspection before you install it. I'm not running cats but it does run a tad rich at idle.
