Default Connecting rod bolts

Hi all, new here.

i have tried doing some internet searching and cant really find out the answer to my question.

1) in what years were the con-rod bolts upgraded to stronger ones?

2) i have a 2000 Z28 making about 422 rwhp.
what is a safe RPM to be able to spin my motor too? the guys at the tuning shop/garage said 6500 rpm is still safe.

motor has 42000 KMS on it .

Thanks !

In late 2000 models they switched over... I am not going to spin mine past 6,300 rpm till i put in katech rod bolts. Then i will let the rpms fly!!!!
