Is this the same cam that was used in the G5X2 H/C package that hit 463rwhp?

If not, is it a reverse split? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Thanks!

I'm interested in that cam..plus I have 10 bolt w/ 3.42's M6. Sounds like a great cam and plus, L.G. is the best IMO. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Ian,

None of the LG Motorsports Cams are a reverse split. We couldn't make 430rwtq on that Cam and head car if it was a reverse split cam.

If you want a reverse split cam , just call and we can get one ground for you special. Although I would not recomend one. ( just my opinion)

The cam in Alex's car is our G5X-1 cam. It is a little different than the G5X-2 cam that made the 460+ rwhp with a hydraulic cam.

We will sell the G5X-1 cam to all who want it. It is the G5X-2 cam that must be installed in house by LGM or approved installers.

Give me a call if you have any other questions at 972-272-7753.

Thanks

Onyl by approved installers? I guess that mean you have to flycut the pistons? I work at a shop the does nothing but performance work on LS1 and LT1 cars (mainly LS1) Are we not qualified to put one of those cams in, or is there something else to them that you dont want out? Just curious why it has to be specially installed.

Also Lou, whats the fastest hydraulic heads/cam LS1 you guys have put together?

Lou,

Alex and Louis told me a little bit ago you guys are gonna sell the G5X1....After driving Alex's car last night, I can tell you I'm certainly impressed. That car has power EVERYWHERE. So much fun on the street. After Alex got the idle raised to 875 the idle is actually quite tame. I have no doubt you all will have success with it!

Good job LG <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Excellent #'s! I like the specs of that cam, works great N/A and will ROCK THE HOUSE on nitrous. Your car would be SICK with a 100 shot of some juice.

I am very impressed with the torque numbers!

Lou, is this cam "stinky"? Any chances of passing emissions with CAT's?
