Well if this is the case, kudos to your builder for picking this up. First time I have seen this issue come up and the kits have been out for a while.

Default Comp Cams Turnion Bolts - THE SCOOP

I spoke with Brian at CC today and he tells me that the trunion kit was suppose to come with bolts. However they were "short" some bolts and some sets shipped without the bolts. CC is sending me a set of bolts at no charge. So I guess your best bet if you do not have bolts supplied with your set is call them and they will send you the correct bolts.

I got my trunion upgrade from total engine service and it came with different bolts.

I think this is an awsome upgrade for the price, $200 exchange, they send you the kit already installed in a set of rockers with all the necessary hardware (upgraded bolts of the correct length), and all i had to do is send my old rockers in to them.

A set I got came without bolts too, I used replacement bolts the same dimensions as the HS kit, I always have a few around the shop anyway. I never tried stock rocker bolts.

No, its a kit from Total Engine Service(member on here), but im pretty sure it is their own kit (could be comps tho), but looks almost exactlly the same...yet it comes with the correct bolts.

The bolts my kit came with are not threaded all the way up the shaft of the bolt like the harland sharp set. It is a slightly shorter than the factory bolt, and still has a shoulder that goes through the new rocker shaft and pedestal( which i like since it keeps the rocker shaft located).

Also, it is an allen head, and is a little harder than factory(up to 12.8 from 9.8 i believe, I would have to pull off a valve cover to be exact, or maybe they can chime in for me).

mine came with shorter allen head bolts...really nice kit, definitely worth the $130 i paid for it.

it's such an easy kit to install too...i punched my old stuff out with a 3lb sledge and a punch, pressed the new stuff in with a bench vice and some sockets. they work perfectly.

Just did mine on an LS7 and the kit bolt are way too long. I used stock bolts and they seem to thread in plenty deep enough.

I just did some on my ls3 heads and the supplied bolts worked fine. I didn't bother to try the stock bolts.
