I say go at least 228, lift above .580 and on a 112. The 224's can make nice power, but you will wish later on that you went bigger.

Torquer 2 is from Texas speed.

Why are you sold on the SLP LTs/ORY. The ones I have seen hang way too low for me. Do some searching and pick you something else out. There are alot better choices for less cash.

With my 220/224 I got around 19 mpg, with the 238/242 I'm down to around 16 mpg, but its still new and I play a lot... Plus I'm a stalled auto so I'll get less mpg than M6 guys

I was about to say that. Those were the tuned length headers, I believe. (The ones that hung low) Correct me if I am wrong.

Hmmmm well I heard a TReX was radical as hell. And you have to have a 4000 stall for it. Please tell me the good news lol. If it is good enough news then I might consider a TReX.
For a auto that is gonna be on the street a lot, Trex is too radical. Us 6 speed guys can get away with larger cams typically without effecting our driveability or gas mileage nearly as much. Sure, you can run a big cam, big stall on the street....plenty of guys do...but its not as street friendly. I would say 224/224 112, or the F13....I hear good things about that cam too. If you want the best IMO, talk to Ed Curtis (does my line of cams), PredatorZ, or PatG and have them spec a cam for you.

Ed Curtis either the AZPS02 or AZPS03 with the right tune the 03 can net you 420rwhp with everything else stock on an M6. Am running the 02 and very happy through an A4.

Vengeance VRX series cams have some options you could look at.

And for headers if you're looking at stainless there are LPP, American Racing, and Kooks as other options. LPP being the most affordable.

You can also go with a 224/228 with a 112 or 114 lsa, or even a 226/230 with a 112 or 114 lsa.
Or a Comp cams 224/230 with a 114 lsa (pt#54-444-11)

Yeah but as you can see it was a hell of a set up and it was not cheap. I am looking at going 383 for the next project.

I knew it lol. Plus just looking at the descriptiom of the Trex on the website was just making me say, "noooooooooooo way". Like I aforementioned, that 224/224 112 LSA from Thunder Racing seemed like a pretty good cam to me so I'll think about it.
