Default 5.3L heads? Help

Ok I know enough to be dangerous about heads. That being said please advise wisely. I have a 2000 M6 TA with about 400 HP. I have stock 243's on now. I have a 232/236 cam at .595 lift. I found a good deal on a set of 5.3L heads ported and everything. Should i buy that and put those on cheap? what kind of power will that make? Should I spend twice as much money and port my 243's? My goal is the 430-450 HP range. If the 5.3L heads will be a nice compliment to my cam i'm all for it but i do'nt know anything about 5.3L heads. My 243's have dual valve springs on so i figured i'm all set if i just switch them to the 5.3's as well.

flow numbers at peak are pretty much worthless, compare flow numbers at mid lift. IMO, the only good peak numbers are is to make sure your not going to starve the cam at max lift.
