I looked in the stickies and was not able to find any info. I picked up a 5.3 and wanted to make it a 383 stroker, is it possible? what do I need as far as bore and stroke? also any idea how much a 5.3 vs a 5.7 in weight differences? Would ported 5.3 heads be too much compression? Depending on the headgasket thickness. I know you can make the LS-1 block into a 383 but not sure about the 5.3. Thanks
