It used to take my motor a while to warm up, but after a cam swap it seems to build temp quicker

Did you make sure you have no trapped air in the cooling system?

Are you sure you put the head gaskets on correctly?

yeah the heads gaskets are on right, and how do you get all the air out or make sure i did, its just some ported and polished 241's with a comp custon grind nitrous cam, w/the fast 92mm intake throttle body combo, the car doesnt over heat at all, i thought the sensor might be reading air but i can also turn the heater on at its alreay hot also

To get most of the air out let the car cool down and just disconnect the highest hose u can get to,
fill the coolant up at the radiator cap when u start to see coolant where u separated the system or it wont take any more coolant seal it up,
let it run till it warms up let it cool and top off the radiator and overflow tank usually that takes care of it
