Used cams are fine. Just remember you are going to need a retune to get some more power out of it.

Check out rwhp.us alot of us local guys are on there.

I have a bigger cam i wouldn't mind doing a possible trade for a TQ V2?

yeah i haven't gone there that much. i think a TQ V2 is a bit too much for me. i was originally looking at a comp 220/224 since it's small but still has a slightly rough idle, and is good for a 100 shot. not only that but this package comes with springs that won't handle a cam that big. thanks though.

by the way for small cams >230, >.600, is it really necessary to change the timing set? or maybe just the chain to an LS2 chain?

you'll be 100% fine with the ls2 chain.

you'd actually probably ok with the stock one, but at 125k you may as well replace it. $40 part.

yeah i've been advised to replace the whole set beings that the sprockets can wear out too. any input on that?
