OK I got a LQ4 now what
OK I got a LQ4 now what I bought a 1999 Lq4 with 75k. I want to know what I can do with out boring it out to make good HP. Im going to do heads cam and intake. What combo have you guys seen make the best HP. I can drop about 2k on it

Ohhh yeah, Im trolling for used heads, I am buying a new cam and lifters.. I already have a used ls6 intake.. with a ported TB, I actually have 2 of them.. Im building 2 cars at the same time.. a 1966 GTO and a 1976 Trans am..

send in ur 317 to TSP for there porting service. with new springs and mill.
ls2 head gaskets, new bolts,pr's.
udp,ls2 chain, gm hot cam,new lifters. ls6 intake headers and tune.
cant get no more budget than that and still make decent power.

Yeah, Im going to troll the classifieds and get some used ported heads for 1100 or so, and the cam lifter and pushrods are around another 700.. Than a gasket kt 200 with some ARP's another 100.. I have long tubes and an LS6 intake with a ported TB. Im not racing this thing.. Im dropping my t56 on it and run it in my 1976 Trans Am.
