Poly mounts are definitely your problem. Get solids.
Most people I know who do flycutting do it so that the motor remains in balance after the cuts. Equal measured cuts on each piston.

^^^^^^ agreed...You don't take enough off to throw it out of balance....It is the poly mounts.....

I heard that the 5.3 TEA heads usually don't work with any cam that has an intake over 226 or 228. Anyone else heard this?

update: the vibration was the clutch assy being out of balance..... that was along time ago as now its an automatic car lol
I've raced it for a full race season with the cam and the flycut pistons at 7k every shift with 150hp shot of the gas and seems to be running great!

All i can say is check ptvc no matter what even if they say "it'll fit" lol
