Default 5.3 problem

Gonna post this here as this gets more views. My 02 Yukon messed up today and I don't know what exactly the problem is. The truck will not turn over and will not jump off. I wouldn't think it's the starter due to it not acting up before. It just all of a sudden would not crank, and would not jump off. I can hear the fuel pump kick on when the key is turned on, but when I turn it to start, nothing.

Anyone had this problem or have a solution? I don't wanna go through the trouble of taking the starter off if it's not necessary

Do you have a meter, so you can check to see if it's putting power to the starter when you turn the key to start? That's the first thing you need to check.

Sounds like a starter to me. Sometimes they will take a **** on you at any given moment, yet sometimes they will let you know before they leave you stranded.
