you would be better off trying to find some 799 or 317 heads i dont think you will find any 243s unless you get realllllly lucky lol

Get a set of 241's and port them. Go for a LS6 cam as mentioned as well. Your better bet is saving to get a better set of heads (243's). Just in the cost to change them you'd lose money on stock heads. New head gaskets, Exhaust manifold gaskets, Head bolts, Coolant and oil since you will need to drain them. Stock heads wont pick up much if anything at all. Get a set pf 243 heads, mill them 10 or 15 thousands (bump up compression) and run atleast a LS6 cam or used aftermarket cam.
