Default ts 233 239 valve springs

I have comp 918 springs on my heads now, are they good enough? The engine is a ls1 383 stroker so it will be reving lower then a 346. I got stock rockers also. If I do need bigger springs am I going to have to go to a roller rocker to make the valve guides last?

valve guides should be fine with stock rockers unless you're going aftermarket heads.

with .603" lift on the exhaust...i'd go bigger on the springs.

Guides should be fine. I would leave the stock rockers in there. On springs I would go to a PRC dual spring or a PAC 1518 spring. Either one will do the trick. We have both in stock if you need a set!

this may be a dumb question but why are the pac springs better then the comp 918's for this application. the comp springs are 367 pounds at open pressure and the pacs are at 340 pounds open pressure?

I would run a double because those lobes are pretty agressive.
