Default guess on performance?

I ordered all the parts today for my 388 big bore rebuild. It will be:

- Darton Wet Sleeve LS1 block
- Diamond 4.130" pistons (~10.75 compression)
- Eagle 6.300" SBC rods
- stock crank
- stg 3 heads (2.08/1.60 valves....flowed ~295CFM on an LS1 intake)
- TR224/224 .562/.562 112LSA cam (reuse what I have for a while)

It is/will be supported with a BBK 80mm TB, a matched LS6 intake (~78mm TB hole), Hooker LTs, and a 2.5" x-pipe (bullet mufflers) out the rear

I know the TR224 is SMALL compared to what others are running but I want to shoot for a super sleeper for a while. The heads, cam, intake, and exhaust were all on the car when I made my 400rwhp/385rwtq last summer (100+ degrees out) so I figure I'm at around 410-415 now. Any idea what kind of HP I will see from this new setup?

I'm so freaking excited I can hardly sit still.

i'll guess about 440hp/430tq... with the 112 lsa, it won't be too stealthy... i bet a 228 on a 116 would be stealthy tho...

Hopefully not enough to allow you to finally put me your rear view.

295 with a LS1 intake attached?? Thats like a 330-340 cfm head, I would say 470-480 RWHP, simply because we have seen cars H/C cars with tiny cams (216-218) make real good power. The better the head the less cam you can use to make the power.

IF your gonna bore it why not get an eagle crank and give it a nice stroke as well?

Either way your car is gonna haul ***. Grats on the setup.
