he had shopping list of stuff. ok here its goes he had a (starting from the front) a 224 on a 114 lsa cam, 243 heads, fast 90/90 ported by fasterproms intake, fast fuel rails, 30lbs injectors, 160 degree thermostate,ls6 ported oil pump, mezimer electric water pump(street version), volant cold air intake, tranny cooler, 3000 stall on a stocky wocky tranny, "BUILT" 10 bolt with 3.73's in it. yea i said BUILT FOR YOU SPENDING ON A 12 and 9 bolt FOOOOOLS everything was under a 1000 for us lol it can be done. but back on track. no the cam and heads been on there he was driving untune for a while. The killer part about it is we just just got the car out the shop for some extra work its been sittin there for a while like months and when the man put it on the dyno he was onl making 390 to the wheels untune and the last pull befor it gave out was 430 to the wheels. so what yall think

Yea...people who do 9' are such FOOOOOOOLS
Do some good 60fts off a 7k clutch dump...see how far ANY built 10 bolt gets you.
Anyhow, sounds like he didn't maintain it to good for starters. You said the oil was black, sounds he didn't change it to often. Dyno won't make it go to black lol. And you mentioned he drove it for a long time with no tune....that's NO good as well.

Honestly, like said before in this thread, I don't see how a dyno would be anymore stressful than a WOT street/track run. Actually a dyno could be considered safer because the operator is able to watch the engine's vitals were it would be difficult to do so on the street.
If everything is in good working order on your car and you install the parts properly, you have no reason to be worried about blowing it on a dyno.

lmfao 12 bolts and 9''s are for fools? putting any money into a 10bolt is worthless, 10 bolt=junk.... and your buddy shouldnt of bin driving on a untune thats what probly killed it and if he had stock rod bolts, they probly started to stretch at high rpm's and wiped the bearing out throwing the rod.......

Don't be scared as long as your car was put together right, it should be fine, I have stock rods, pistons, crank. BUT I also have high flow/pressure oil pump, k-tech rods bolts, tv.2 cam, home ported heads. This video is trying to get the tune perfect, ended up with 424 hp in an auto 3600 stall 12 bolt 3.73 gears.
I lost count but look at how many pulls we made revving to 6,600-7,000 rpm.
