scared to get a cam and dyno

haha exactly. Did he have good oil in the car? I changed my oil the night before the dyno and right after the car was dyno'd. My buddies oil pick up tube fell off his car on the dyno and blew up his motor, it can be a number of different things that went wrong with your buddies car.

I've had my car on the dyno 4 times. One tuning session lasted over 4 hours with something like 17 runs. If the engine and drive train are in good condition, a dyno won't be any harder on it than flooring it while out on the open road.

A dyno doesn't blow a rod. You can loose one by the operator over revving the **** out of it. We had 1 motor go on the dyno from a bearing problem.Owner told us after his oil pressure has been dropping the week before.

aaaaaaaaaaaa ddddddooooooooooooooo what
He blew a load..WHAT!
Ohh wait a Rod..No he broke a Rod.
lol I can just see someone studdering and saying these exact words for some reason lol
Anyway, Iv been on a dyno twice, broke a rocker arm the first time. No biggie, Yella Terras took care of that, If you drive the living **** out of your car, its not different..and they can watch a lot of things such as air/fuel and timing and such to make sure they dont burn it down..Youll be fine just slow your roll and talk a bit slower, less studdering and youll be good to go!
