I think the torque is like 15 ft/pounds. Its not a lot. Use anti-sieze on the bolt threads. Recheck after a few hundred miles.

ok well i ordered this and it finally came in but it looks like it's the clam shell portion of the motor mount...would just swapping out the clamshell make a difference or should i just do the whole thing all at once?

You are only replacing the bushings inside the clamshell. The clamshell itself is reused.

The factory clamshell is taken apart by drilling out the rivets that hold them together.

Once apart, you'll have to pry the rubber bushing out and clean off what is stuck to the inside of the clamshell.

I got the majority of the bushing out and then used a torch to burn off the remaining rubber stuck to the clamshell, then scraped it clean with a putty knife. If you choose to do it this way, be careful. That ****** gets really hot really fast. Be sure to let it cool before you reinstall the new bushing.

Next you place the new Poly bushing into the clamshell and bolt it back together with the supplied hardward from Prothane.

Prothane should have provided instructions that tell you what size bit to use to drill the rivets, orientation of the new poly bushings (it does matter), and torque specs for the bolts/nuts holding the clamshell together.

After you've got the clamshells back together, bolt them back to the block and begin your reassembly.

Good luck, man.

It's quite some work to open the clamshell and getting the new one in.
I had a situation in wich I couldnot leave the car at the shop and wanted in and out and went with factory but now that I have the old clamshell with the old rubber out is much easier to work.
Let me know if you need them if is going to make the installation much faster
I have the pair of OEM
If I knew of someone getting rid of the factory mounts I would of save a lot of money.... Oh well
I got a pair in good condition exept the rubber.
