Yea they work really well when ported and pullied. That whine they make is cool to hear but not $7400 worth it Its your build and will be different to hear that whine coming from an fbody. Good luck with the build.

I have a 383 W/Callies parts, the displacement is nice but it's the piece of mind that you can spin the motor hard under boost. Also there is a built in safety margin if for example you encounter some detonation from bad gas or super high intake temps. You can't always tune those out if they're just random events.

I always thought the roots couldn't fit because of the glass as well. Since the intake is under the front windshield. or am I wrong?
