I'm running 918s on my 219/235 .607/.621 LSL lobed cam, no problem at all. They redesigned the 918 completely. I run them on about everything i put together in fact.

which ever spring you choose to run, make sure it is set up correctly..some of the spring failures i've seen are due to improper set up..use a quality pushrod(stiffer the better,i would go with Manton or Trend,at least 11/32 dia)correct preload, good swipe pattern on the valves and proper spring height..
this sounds obvious, but a lot of folks just order springs/pushrods and throw them on without checking anything..

If you are running a cam with less than .600 lift is there any reason you would go with the 1518 and not the 1218?
