Default 99 PCV Piping

I found that the PCV piping on my engine has melted and/or broken at the Y fitting behind my intake manifold. This may explain my rough idle. A search of a few threads shows this is a common problem.

It’s GM part number 12560692 and at least 80 bucks.

In this piping assembly, are there any special fittings or valves or is it just straight tubing all joined together? I can easily make up a replacement with hose and fittings I have laying around in my shop and save the money for chips & beer.

3/8 fuel line and quality t-fittings would replace this. And yes fuel line doubles as emissions hose.

Very common problem. I changed my pcv valve right after I got my car and the entire assembly basically fell apart. Rotted junk.

Good luck with the fix!
