I just bought an 01 SS that has a LS1 intake on it now. The guy I bought it from gave me an LS6 intake (PN 12573572) and the MAP sensor on the back is broke. I have a few questions: 1. Did this car come stock with an LS6 intake? 2. How do I get the broke sensor out? 3. Can I use the sensor off of the intake in my car on this ls6 intake? 4. If not what is the part # for the replacement sensor I will need to replace in the ls6 intake?
I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

The sensor on the intake should just pull out but be careful because they do break easily. The car being an 01 should have an ls6 intake on it stock so if the one on there is an ls1 it would be beneficial to swap it out, and the sensor and everything else should switch right over to the ls6.

The car has some head work done and a cam in it. The car has some history, and part of it being the guy that built it swapped out alot of the performance parts and sold them. I think it had a Fast intake (which would explain that) and other stuff. There is also a stock converter in it, which I will be taking care of next week. I just wanted to get all of the stuff chaged so I can take it to TSP and get it tuned. Oh BTW, does the sensor just pull out or do I have to turn it to get it out?
