5.3l 243 799 heads?

Are these heads the same as the ls6.
Is it just the chambers or do they have smaller valves?
I have two complete 5.3l motors one has a 243 head and a 799, the other are both 243's.
Looking of best stock casting cylinder heads?

you have a 5.3 with LS6 heads???

im guessing they have been swapped.

Yes they are the same. The only differences between 243/799s is that the 243s that came on the LS6 Zo6 Corvettes have lighter valves. I just picked up a set of 799s for my build that came off a '05 Grand Prix GXP.

Not sure exactly what year but after 04 or somewhere around there GM started putting 243's in the trucks..... Somebody will chime in soon to clarify I am sure.....
