I was lookin at doin an 85mm lid and maf. I'm running heads and cam and was wondering how restrictive my setup is. I know I could use a FAST intake, but I just don't have the money for that right now.
LS6 p+p'd heads
LS6 intake
Stock MAF
SLP lid.

You should see some gains but they won't be substantial. The LS6 intake is fine for what you've listed. But, in order to provide you with a more clear answer I suppose people are going to want to know what your ultimate plans are for the car and, at the risk of sounding like a Cobra owner, what power figure you'd like to hit.

^ Over the next couple years, I'm going to see what this cam is ultimately capable of. TF Heads and a FAST 92 intake, UDP and EWP. I KNOW it will squeak out 500hp, but I'm going to have to wait on that ($$.) I know the lid and MAF will be good supporting mods for the FAST intake anyway. Unless there is a bigger MAF/Lid I will need with the FAST. I'll do SD tune when/if the time comes.
I just want to throw the best heads at it and see what it makes. And take some paricitic drive loss away from the front of the engine.
I don't know what the ultimate plans are for the car. I've had it for seven years and It's mostly just a street machine with the occasional trip to the track.

Well the large intake/throttle body makes the MAF a little more worthwhile. There are some that would argue that the large bore throttle bodies (92 or even 102mm) would require a 100mm MAF or a SD tune but you're really not going to peg the flow potential of your desired setup even with crazy heads on a 346ci. bottom end.
