2001 LS1 ....HI ENGINE SMOKES WHEN IDLING AND IT APEARS TO GET FLOODED AFTER A WHILE ? BAD INJECTORS ? THANKS

Sounds like you are running too rich. What mods did you do? If it is stock then take it to the dealer if not then get it tuned..

SMOKE IS KIND OF DARK AND SPARK PLUGS TEND FLOODED AFTER A PROLONGED IDLE .....FUEL PRESSURE IS AT 58 PSI....UMMM BUT COMPUTER HASNT BEEN REPROGRAMED YET AND ALL EMISSION CONTROLS WERE REMOVED ONLY FRONT OXIGEN SENSORS ARE CONNECTED

From the pics, I can't see an air intake temp sensor. Do you have one?

If you got rid of the emmisions but didn't delete the codes,you could be in a limp mode on the computer..Also I notice your running a 382,you really need to have the car tuned before you damage the motor.

Yep, do not drive it until it's properly tuned. You can wash down your cylinder walls and ruin your rings.

He's absolutely right. Wash down kills the rings in no time.
