Head Specs I was looking at getting some heads for my 383 ls1 going into a 1969 Vette. I will be getting the rotating assembly from Texas speed and going with their 228R cam. Are these head specs way to big for this set up? I am used to 23deg and they seem right to me, but I'm not sure for the ls1 and 15 deg head design.
Combustion Chamber 64cc
Intake Port 235cc
Exhaust Port 82cc
Valve Size
Intake 2.02
Exhaust 1.60
Opinions is what I am after: I will be running a LS6 intake, 1-3/4 headers no emissions. 4L60E with a 3.55 rear end. Car is going to weigh around 3100 w/o driver.
